Great landscape photography is about making images that connect with viewers, making them feel something about the subject. As an extension of Thursday night’s presentation, Doug will delve into “Dynamic Symmetry” sharing knowledge in how to design and compose your images. As it has for Doug & Laura, this knowledge can totally transform your approach to landscape composition. And Dynamic Symmetry has total applicability to all genres of photography to include portraiture.
This compositional approach will be reinforced with Doug & Laura assisting in an outdoor shooting outing. To top things off, Doug will share their observations on the suitability of these compositional insights relative to MIR and IPC print reviews/competitions with other high level international landscape competitions. What works for one doesn’t necessarily mean success in the other. Knowing the differences here will enhance your success in both competitions and in the MIR. Join us for a great day…
