However, sometimes we get so involved in the everyday routine that we simply lose track of why we picked up a camera in the first place.
In this inspirational program Jeff Johnson with
Soul Road Trips, will explore some of the reasons why you are, who you are and if you are realizing your potential as a photographer. Are you fulfilling your passion? So many times, we lose our direction. We unknowingly switch to autopilot and merely go through the motions causing us to miss out on each precious moment of your lives.
Discovering the “why” of your life can be beneficial, rewarding and will unlock your potential for living your life and art to its fullest. Becoming aware of why you do the things you do and recognizing if they truly enhance your life and art, is not only important, but it can be mind-blowing as well.
Are you following blindly or do you have control of the wheel? You must be honest with this question! Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and will overflow into your everyday life. You can’t help that; you are an artist. And the only way to be truly satisfied is to create what you believe is great work. Work that you find your truth in, not someone else’ truth. The only way to create great work is to love what YOU do. If you haven’t found that love yet, keep looking. Don’t settle for less and please don’t give up. This program will encourage you to explore deeper inside of your knowledge, passion and love for photography.

About Jeff: Jeff has been a professional photographer for over 40+ years and has photographed almost everything from babies to brides, families to CEO’s and bread knives to buildings. His deepest passion is to spend time with Mother Nature. He is also a former president of the PPC, current Image Competition chair and juries numerous other photography organizations helping others learn more about the photographic craft.
