Join us Saturday, August 29th from 10am – 12pm via Zoom.


David Snyder is a landscape and wildlife photographer whose work can be seen in galleries and for 5 years at festivals across the front range and is located in Colorado Springs.

Are you thinking about selling your art, but not sure if art at festivals are for you, or not sure how to start? During this online Zoom class, Dave will cover the process of showing and selling your photography at festivals. This discussion will take you through the basics of:

  1. How to create a portfolio

  2. Set up your business

  3. Finding and applying to festivals

  4. Preparing your work to show

  5. Creating a booth and marketing materials

  6. Business considerations

About David: David lives in Colorado Springs at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. He is married, and has two children. David and his family have lived across the United States and traveled extensively in the US, Central America, Europe, Iceland, and New Zealand. David studied photography in the 1980’s focusing on Black & White film photography and portraiture. However, after spending time in US National Parks such as Yosemite, Sequoya, Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons he migrated towards Landscape and Wildlife photography. David has a diversified background as an engineer, entrepreneur, small business owner, and executive Vice President/ business leader of a fortune 500 company. In 2016 he started his own photography business based upon his passion for nature and photography. He was accepted into the John Fielder Gallery as an associate photographer in 2016. David is a Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Professional Photographers of Colorado (PPC) member and his work can be found at art festivals across Colorado, his website Mountain West Photography, and is featured on the El Paso County website.
