Creating a good, dependable, seamless selection in Photoshop can be excruciatingly slow and difficult. Luminosity masks are one solution to this problem. “Understanding Luminosity Masks” will provide a basic understanding of:

1. Luminosity masks

2. How an image maker can use them in their workflow.

While luminosity masks are primarily tools for landscape photographers, other photographers will find luminosity masks interesting and helpful in their workflow.
